So, I'm going to jump on the 10 Things I Love band wagon except I'm going to do it on Saturday! That's original...right? Oh well, here it goes:

1. Starbucks.
This is sort of a cop-out because my love for Starbucks has been made painfully evident in my last posts but its true. I love Starbucks, no matter how much of a hipster it makes me sound. I love how there's so many different choices (soy, skinny, tall, no whip, etc.). I love how you can sit for hours talking to friends and no one gets mad about you taking up space. I love the baristas (well, at 'my' Starbucks anyway) for making the "Double Rainbow" drink (refer to Steph's blog).

2. Gelato/Ice Cream.
Its my favorite dessert, even in the winter. I don't know why I love it so much, but it just makes me happy and I'm content to live with that.

3. Air Conditioning.
For the most of the summer, the air conditioning in my room has been sort of touch-and-go. Eventually, my dad got a window unit for my room. Its loud, but it keeps my room from being 80 degrees so I love it right now.

4. My Guitar.
I'm really not very good at playing the guitar, but its relaxing and fun to jam with people. My guitar, Jefferson (named after both Thomas and Starship), is my first and only guitar. He may not be the nicest one out there but he's been a nice "beginner" one for me.

5. Bluecifer (also known as Satan's Steed or Blue Devil Horse).
Majestic? Yes. Blue? Yes. Frightening? Of course. Bluecifer is a statue outside of the Denver airport. During his construction, the sculptor that designed Bluecifer was killed when a piece of Bluecifer fell and crushed him. There are many organizations that are working to try and get the statue removed as well, complaining of his "satanic look" and being "anatomically correct". In short, I love how one scary, blue horse can cause so much mayhem.

6. Film photos.
Having physical pictures to have are nice because its easier to share them and you can have them posted places (like in my room, as you can see above). They also have a cool look to them (for example, with light leaks). I love all pictures, but I have a special place in my heart for film.

7. Sunflowers.
They are one of my favorite kinds of flowers (my other favorite is peonies). I just like that they're big and bright and happy looking. They're also symmetrical, which sounds weird but I find symmetrical flowers to look "prettier" to me than asymmetrical flowers...I don't know why. Anyway, I love sunflowers.

7. Urban Outfitters.
Although they're pretty pricey, I really love the style of clothes they have and all the different kinds of knick knacks too. They have a wide variety and I also appreciate how many of the stores have interesting and cool locations (like the one in Charleston that's a renovated theatre). I love how they go the extra mile.

8. Death Cab for Cutie.
Smart lyrics, excellent bass lines, sick drums, awesome band. I mean, I named my blog after one of their lyrics! They are probably my favorite band. I love they're melancholy sound and wordy songs. (Picture from DCFC's flickr photostream.)

9. Studio Ghibli Films.
They're like the movies that Disney used to make. So full of magic and wholesome goodness! I love the art and I more specifically love Hayao Miyazaki's films. (Picture from My Neighbor Totoro off of Flickr.)

10. Shibas.
I just think they're really cute and the perfect dog size (not too small so they're more like a cat and not too big so they can't knock you down). I've never actually seen one "in person" so I really can't say if I'd ever get one myself but I love how they look. (Picture from madzuka on Flickr.)
