"The time, you've got me tired. Well I've got more for the world than this and I've got love that I need to give." - Tegan and Sara.
School has only been in session for three days and I'm already exhausted. All I want to do is go to bed and sleep for days. I think my body was in a state of mental atrophy and now that I'm thinking critically again its wearing me out.
Today I've had to read a chapter of government (which was pretty dull, to be honest), study for grammar quiz that will determine if I will have to take more grammar quizzes throughout the semester, do some Precalculus homework (math and I don't get along very well, I can do it but its just very boring for me), and I have to worry about my great books paper that's due in two weeks. Its safe to say that I've been pretty busy with different stuff, its not necessarily "hard" but its still pretty stressful to get it all done.
Being a Tuesday/Thursday also didn't help since I have my more monotonous classes then. There are a few highlights though, like today being Bastard day and all. For those who have never heard the tale of Bastard Day, I shall tell you the story: A bishop (who I believe was the bishop of Hippo) took a vow of celibacy, but on the eleventh (of a month which I am not sure of) he had a son. Therefore, it was made that the eleventh of every month was "Bastard Day" to remind the priests of their celibate oaths. Now, the reason why it is significant to me is not because I am a priest but because my friend and I celebrate with cupcakes. (That's because the day that my friends Lindsay informed of this grand "holiday" I had surprised her with funfetti cupcakes and we concurred that it was a "Bastard Day miracle".)
In reference to my last post, I decided to post a picture of my locker with it all "decorated" and crap because it looked rather bare in the one with the horrid Twilight sticker. So here is my locker (note: the Twilight sticker has been obscured) with all its photos and magnets and such:
You might notice the armadillo on my little whiteboard which was obviously drawn in light of Sam's comment. I might post pictures of any of the other drawings I might change it to, depending on if they have any comical value.
I swear I'm not as boring as this, its just all this homework and time management that I haven't mastered which makes me seem like I don't do anything interesting. I'm pretty sure I'm a relatively interesting person, or at least humorous at times. Once my life gets into a sort of "routine" my real "shenanigans" will probably happen....theoretically...
