Brothers On A Hotel Bed

"On the back of a motor bike, with your arms out stretched trying to take flight, leaving everything behind. But even at our swiftest speeds, we couldn't break from the concrete in the city where we still reside." - Death Cab for Cutie.

Yesterday was too epic to be left untold. So although I touched on it in my 10 Things I Love, I'm going to go into more detail (with more pictures) here. CAUTION: Lots of words and pictures!

It started with Stephanie and I going to church (more specifically sabbath school) to see our friends Chris, Stephen, and Bradbury (whose first name is 'Danny' but I prefer Bradbury). Stephanie failed/accidentally made us get there an hour early.

Eventually people started showing up so we went and sat around/helped out until they served us pancakes which were pretty delicious. It didn't take long after for more people to come and they proceeded with the..."program", I guess you'd say.

After sabbath school we ended up leaving to go for a service at a different church which was alright. And then after that Bradbury and Chris left to eat and Stephanie and I went to my house and ate stir fry. We decided we'd go on a walk later so while we waited for Bradbury and Chris we went to Steph's house so she could change and such--and after much more waiting we finally went to the greenway where we met up with Bradbury and then Chris. And then Tim, who was walking all by himself. The walk included us talking, taking pictures, "hiding from Chris, and terrorizing Tim (which meant Stephanie stuck leaves up his nose and Bradbury shoved him into a pole and then through sprinklers).

We went to Stephanie's house (minus Tim and plus a blister on my foot for me) because Chris and Stephanie wanted to eat enchiladas and I wanted banana pudding. Chris wanted to try "malta" too (a non-alcoholic beer) which was disgusting and therefore we all had to have a sip. Bradbury also discovered Stephanie had vanilla coke and proceeded to drink almost all of them. After eating, we decided to wait for Katelyn (who was at work during all of this) there and longboarded/went for a walk. My "longboarding" consisted of me sitting on the board while other people pushed me which was fun but also very silly. We made it back to the house and still no Katelyn so we sat in Stephanie's very plush lawn and continued to wait. When Stephanie went inside for a moment, Bradbury decided to climb a very small tree and scare her. She was shocked but then just laughed her face off. Katelyn was not so surprised when she arrived to see Bradbury in a tree. We made Katelyn try the malta and then left for Waffle House.

At Waffle House, we met our kind waitress, Crystal and we got chocolate chip waffles, hashbrowns for me (and a chocolate milk), and vanilla cokes for Bradbury and Chris. We listened to Outkast and Elton John from the jukebox, (sneakily) took a picture of a baby with some crazy hair, and danced while sitting the the booths. It was decided we'd go to Bradbury's house to watch Top Gun since Stephanie and I had never seen it (which was both the best and worst movie...there was a lot of strange glamor shots). We piled into Stephanie's "swagger wagon" or "ghetto blaster" car, danced to "Paper Planes" on the way back to dropping people off at their cars and then proceeded to Bradbury's.

We got a small tour of the house (seeing Stephen's room, Bradbury's room and princess balcony, etc.) and after Bradbury and Chris mooned Stephen and his friend who were watching a movie in another room, we watched Top Gun. When it was finished, we all went home (Stephanie came to my house) because we were exhausted and crashed as soon as we got to the couches.

A day of epic proportions fro reelz!

(disclaimer: Chris did not moon Stevie and Bonnie. Chris thought Bradbury was kidding and did not actually expose his backside. Bradbury, on the other hand, was not kidding...)
