MIA

"Looks like the speaker lived through the blow, still playing some compilation you made. Feels like a lifetime sitting alone so I start humming along with the tape. I always liked this singer, I remember you were the one who told me her name was either Mia or MIA." - Emmy the Great.

10 Things I Love Saturday~! Woo! (Sorry the pictures are all sorts of different sizes. :/)

1. Mix (Tapes) CDs.
The "mix tape" is dying art, which make me sad. I've got a few mixes that I need to name, burn, and make album art for (I put A LOT of time in my mixes).

2. Doodling.
I pretty much doodle all the time. With pens, markers, pencils on paper, plastic, or skin....

3. A Double Rainbow with Clouds.
To be honest, I don't really like raspberry or bitter coffee so I don't really like the taste of the Double Rainbow. But this...was kind of awesome.

4. Dandelions.
This is sort of random (I just happened to see a bunch of pictures of dandelions on weheartit.com) but I really like dandelions.

5. Illustrations.
Its pretty likely that I've done something like this already but oh well.

6. Smoothies.
At least when they're good ones with a proper balance of strawberry and banana.

7. Johnny Wander.
Giving a shout out to one of my favorite comics that I follow online, Johnny Wander. Its just pure brilliance.

8. Cheesecake.
Mmmhmm, delicious.

9. Rain.
Its been kind of rainy lately. Sometimes I love the rain, sometimes I hate it. I think I'm okay with it right now.

10. Instant coffee.
Most people frown and are disgusted with it but I kind of like it. Its like a cross between instant hot chocolate (a childhood favorite) and caffeinated deliciousness!

On a side note, tonight (it will be last night by the time I post this) was pretty good. I hung out with Bradbury and Stephanie most of the day. We went for a walk, played dominoes, ate cheesecake, and of course, high fived A LOT. Bradbury also took his shirt off and got under the covers of Stephanie's bed which was super funny. We attempted to make origami paper cranes which was sort of weird because everything the guy on the instructive Youtube video said sort of sounded risque.

We eventually left to get hamburgers and pick of Stevie (hamburgers had to be post-poned til after our movie since we accidentally locked Stephanie's mom out of the house) and then picked up Katelyn at Starbucks. All of us wore hats too. Katelyn and Bradbury wore sherpa hats (although Bradbury's had (faux?) fur in it which made it cooler), Stephanie wore a beanie, Stevie wore a bucket hat, and I wore a cabbie hat. After we picked up Katelyn, we blared "Sunny Day" by Motion City Soundtrack which was AWESOME. We finally got to the cheap theater to see Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It had some good funny moments but it also seemed to try too hard with the randomness...maybe I'll decide after I sleep on it (that's what she said!!). Anyway, we went to Steak and Shake after the movie. Everyone ate hamburgers (except for Stevie and I) and I think we kind of freaked out our waiter...or at least he seemed to be scared of us a little. Anyway, after Steak and Shake we dropped of Katelyn and Stephanie, then Stevie, and then Bradbury took me home (but not before we almost hit a deer).
